月姫りTranslations
- 月姫りTranslations is a non-profit translation group, aiming to translate and localize various types of media, such as video games, music, news articles — making them more accessible to the general public, and to also share and preserve the cultures behind these works (Japanese, Chinese, English, German, Vietnamese) for research purposes.
- Formed in 2024 by high school students all across Vietnam.
- Our core quote is “If we spoke a different language, we would perceive a somewhat different world.” By the great philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein. Truth be told, I first came across this quote six years ago when I began my own journey into translation. Back then, it struck me that language is not just a tool for communication — it also shapes the way we think, experience, and understand the world. That idea stayed with me as I continued translating throughout the years, and it eventually became the inspiration for creating this group.
